Job Responsibility

Assist with the preparation of VAT/GST Returns for entities in the region
Support VAT audits
Assist with VAT recovery and refund process in relation foreign invoices and travel and expenses claims
Assist in reviewing of tax codes, AP and AR invoices
Stay up to date with changes in VAT regulations and communicate any updates to relevant stakeholders
Detailed review of AR and AP VAT registers
Reconciliation of VAT general ledger with VAT reports and VAT returns
Instigate VAT payments and follow up VAT refunds
Analyze financial data to identify potential VAT-related issues or areas for improvement
