Job Description:

Senior Windows Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level Microsoft Windows systems and infrastructure. Providing technical assistance to clients both in person and remotely. Their primary responsibility is to lead initiatives, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Candidates would be working in Windows Admin, support, and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Candidates would be working in physical and virtual server’s environments.
  • Candidates would be working in various windows operating systems (2012,2016,2019,2022).
  • Candidates primarily working on troubleshooting windows issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and usage to maintain optimal uptime, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Should be familiar with Design and deploy infrastructure solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS and WSUS.
  • Manage virtualization platforms like Hyper-V, VMware and KVM.
  • Should be familiar with Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools
  • Candidates will be working on SLA driven performance indicators like response and resolutions in timely manner.
  • Should be familiar with ITIL systems/processes like service request, incident, change, problem, etc
  • Should be familiar with Priorities, urgency and impact of IT environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems
  • Document incidents, procedures, and resolutions accurately
  • Perform routine windows health checks and preventive maintenance
  • Assist in maintaining windows security and compliance
  • Candidate will be working in IT Industry supporting framework like ITIL, PMP, HIPAA etc
  • Candidates would be supporting with ISO standards like ISO 27001, 27017/18
  • Candidate should be willing work in 24×7 support environment.
  • Should be an active team member and work with collaboration with peers in the systems.
  • Work towards highest levels of customer satisfaction and ratings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3-5Years of experience in windows server admin role, preferably in the IT industry
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, MCSE, or similar preferred.
  • Very Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
