If you want to shape the future of energy, we are looking for a Senior Warehouse Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team! Who you will work with: You will be part of the Logistics and Warehouse team responsible for assisting the warehouse manager in the overall operation and ensure the execution of strategy of a centralized warehouse supporting multiple power plants within its region. The Senior Warehouse Technician will work to ensure all parts and materials are received, sorted, labeled and stored in an orderly manner and that the physical condition of the warehouse is maintained by implementing design layouts, such that parts and materials can efficiently flow in and out of the warehouse and to the power plant sites. The Senior Warehouse Technician will report directly to the Warehouse Manager in support of this Strategy.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure that all products, items, or materials received are sorted, labeled, and stored in an orderly fashion according to company policies and standards
Coordinates with Planning Group and Site Managers to ensure parts needed at plant sites are delivered in a timely manner
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by following and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Follow processes and procedures for the maintenance and tracking of inventory levels, perform physical counts
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment
issuing Notifications of issues for repair
Controls tool inventory levels by conducting physical counts
reconciling with data storage system
Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures
Act as the warehouse manager in his absence
Operate forklift and other basic lifts and labor saving devices
Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution of materials, parts management
Stocks Management experience for industrial processes desired
Ability to work as a part of a team and involve other in decisions when appropriate
Good written and verbal communications, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
Strong computer skills with experience on the MS suite including Word, Excel and MS Project. Strong with SAP and SAP MM
Ability in scheduling and planning and the flexibility to maintain such as conditions change
Ability to work independently
Strong understanding of safety requirements within warehouse management
Initiative and drive for high achievement and continuous improvement
40% travel required (domestic)
Ability to solve complex problems, Ability to make decisions based on limited information, Time management, communicating and interpersonal skills.
