Job Description

STAR is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Minneapolis team as a full-time Warehouse Leader. The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit, a commitment to exceeding expectations, outstanding people leadership skills and demonstrated ability to seek out and drive changes that increase efficiencies. The Warehouse Leader will oversee the entire freight management process and ensure efficient shipments in and out of the warehouse. This role emphasizes meeting timelines and ensuring shipments meet specifications. The Warehouse Leader will also be responsible for workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage, leading the storage strategy, establishing and managing vendor relationships, and acting as the liaison between client services and the warehouse. The Warehouse function at STAR is responsible for shipping, receiving, fulfillment, reservations, and storage. Our warehouse team delivers on a complex series of steps and processes that require timeliness at every level in order to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. The person who will excel in this role will have experience that taps into critical thinking, problem solving, cross-functional strategy, internal collaborative relationships that focus on exceeding client expectations, and has demonstrated experience in building high-performing, dynamic teams that excel at every turn.
