Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Warehouse Clerk to join their Hotel Engineering Services (HES) team. You will manage critical inventory and procurement processes that keep operations running smoothly. This role offers opportunities to work with advanced systems, collaborate with vendors, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. This role reports to the Manager – Facility Shared Services Planning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process approved material requisitions, source parts, and issue purchase orders following purchasing guidelines
  • Monitor open purchase orders and communicate with vendors on past due orders
  • take action to expedite orders
  • Assist internal customers with ordering needs and identify alternate materials when items are obsolete or unavailable
  • Perform Goods Receipt (Maximo, SAP, and Coupa)
  • Maintain inventory of 5,000+ plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, and kitchen parts across three resort hotel warehouses
  • Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and ensure timely processing of VMI orders
  • Receive and stock incoming parts
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse at all times
  • Break down boxes, manage e-waste, and keep inventory organized at all three properties
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and OSHA standards
  • Provide clear communication with vendors on inventory needs and stock locations
  • Update requestors when parts arrive and on past due orders
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • file packing slips per documentation standards
  • Seek opportunities to improve existing processes
  • Contribute to developing training materials and procedures

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks

  • Coordinate with Engineering and Start-Up teams on SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) for dock equipment, yard systems, yard tractors, sensors, and automation supporting dock-level operations
  • Ensure all dock-related 5S work, signage, safety barriers, trailer restraints, and traffic plans are completed before go-live
  • Onboard and validate all transportation and dock vendors, including carriers, yard management services, and MHE providers
  • Serve as the on-site leader for dock, yard, and transportation execution, directing daily operations during ramp-up
  • Manage and deploy ~100 hourly associates (dock workers, yard spotters, clerks, and transportation support roles)
  • Oversee inbound and outbound trailer movement, live vs. drop prioritization, pre-receiving planning, dispatch readiness, returns handling, and value-added services
  • Validate WMS/WES transaction accuracy for trailer check-in/out, load closures, yard map movements, and dock-door assignments
  • Monitor dock cycle times, unload/load pacing, transportation service levels, and carrier compliance
  • Troubleshoot operational and system issues in real time to stabilize performance
