Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Warehouse Associate for one of our clients, a leading distributor of healthcare products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all administrative and physical material handling activities associated with shipping and receiving products, materials, supplies, and equipment. Additional responsibilities will include operating a forklift.

Job Responsibility:

Prepares goods for final shipment
prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
Maintains cleanliness of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, ensuring it is safe and clean
Performs cycle counting as determined by Inventory Manager, ie daily cycle counting and reporting
Responsible for managing all outbound shipments, including preparation of sequentially numbered paper work in software accounting system, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services
Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas
Unloading of containers and putting away stock
Processing customer returns

Requirements:

Ability and desire to work cooperatively on a team with others
Ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying one’s external and/or internal customers
Ability to tackle a problem using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach
Ability to identify what needs to be done and do it before being asked or before the situation requires it
Ability to function effectively under pressure and maintain self-control in the face of difficult situations and deadlines
Understand the importance of using safety equipment and follow safety procedures to protect oneself and others
