A Northeast-based biotechnology company is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Clinical Development to join their growing team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a physician executive with deep Oncology clinical development and medical monitoring expertise. The company is ideally seeking someone who can begin in a consulting capacity with the potential to transition into a full-time employee role, though both consulting and permanent arrangements will be considered.

Job Responsibility

  • Respond to and support grant submission questions
  • Participate in investigator calls and provide clinical guidance
  • Review scientific abstracts and provide strategic feedback
  • Identify potential new therapeutic indications
  • Assist with protocol development and updates
  • Review and provide written feedback for Investigator Brochures
  • Develop and present materials for Board Meetings

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • US Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Prior experience serving as a Medical Monitor
  • Strong Oncology clinical development experience

  • Lead and influence across R&D on behalf of their TA Group or Function as a key component of cross-functional R&D planning
  • Build a brand-new and/or foster CDS departmental presence that has a strong local culture while being a fully integrated member of the worldwide CDS organization
  • Develop a departmental roadmap starting with the departmental vision, defined through targeted outcomes, strategic initiatives, and tactical deliverables
