Senior VP, Finance Risk Senior Officer

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Risk Management programs focused on Liquidity, Interest Rate, Investments, and Capital Risk, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
• Collaborate with regional and global risk teams to maintain top-tier risk activities and engage with senior regulators on key asset-liability management issues
• Ensure consistency, documentation, and effective challenges in risk processes and controls
• Provide oversight and guidance on complex risk issues, driving solutions with senior stakeholders
• Lead global risk projects to enhance risk assessment accuracy and implement improvements
• Monitor compliance with local risk frameworks and collaborate with other risk areas to improve regulatory and management reporting
• Build strong relationships with regulators and manage critical risk issues with auditors and examiners
• Oversee Risk Appetite Statements, Stress Testing, and governance projects
• Review new product approvals to ensure alignment with risk standards
• Participate in senior governance forums and ensure responsible risk-taking while upholding the firm’s reputation and compliance standards

• Degree in Finance
• 10+ years relevant experience within risk management, treasury, or support functions (balance sheet, financial products, financial/risk analysis)
• Prior work experience in the material entities and or regional markets
• Expert knowledge of treasury, market risk, liquidity management, and derivative products
• Subject Matter Expert in asset-liability management, financial instruments, risk metrics and Risk Management
• Ability to interact with auditors / regulators and understanding of applicable best practice guidelines and regulations
• Expert analytical, technical, and quantitative skills
• Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
• Presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SQL
• Project management skills
• Ability to work in groups and flexibility in addressing several tasks simultaneously
• Business level of English proficiency, Japanese proficiency preferred though not mandatory
