The Senior Videographer will be responsible for delivering world class video content across multiple platforms and channels within the JD Group. Working within a busy studio environment you will be required to conceptualise, produce, and deliver on budget, on brand video content for all the channels. You will collaborate with the full studio team, including but not limited to, Stylists, Photographers, Producers, Motion Graphic Designers, and Editors. Demonstrating your skill with the technical aspects of video production you will complete tasks with a best practise and deadline driven mentality. Working harmoniously within the wider business you will possess an excellent ability to communicate and articulate project proposals, ensuring buy-in from key stakeholders. Promote a progressive and positive culture within the team.
Job Responsibility:
Produce video content on set and location for multiple projects within the JD Group
Edit and encode video for various channels and platforms
Support the planning and production with Producers for campaign shoots
Consistently maintain high-quality projects in line with business guidelines and creative requirements
Collaboration with team leaders in the studio ensuring the delivery of assets on time and on budget
Work closely with the Video Lead to implement innovative solutions with in the studio process
Answer estimate requests when required
Must be able to give direction in a constructive, motivating & polite manner

Conceptualisation from brief to final asset handover

Be an advocate for the JD Studio Team, acting as internal and 3rd party ambassador, able to proactively extol the unique skills of the internal team

Requirements:
Proven experience within a similar role
Excellent knowledge of industry standard camera systems and set ups
A good understanding of lighting design techniques and theory
Strong video editing ability and understanding of multiple software applications
Colour grading knowledge
A solid understanding of file encoding and optimisation
Must be organised and able to manage workloads
Maintain a strong and broad knowledge of fashion content trends
Able to work accurately, effectively, and quickly turn work around whilst maintaining a high level of quality
Display high levels of resilience and leadership
Able to react to retail in an ever-changing environment
Must be self-motivated and pro-active
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite
Strong all round creative portfolio
Desire to develop deep understanding of the nuances associated with individual creative disciplines
Ability to clearly articulate ideas to line manager and other team members
Must be passionate for video and have an interest in retail
Desire to develop and gain a greater understanding of the business
Appetite to move creative video forward and create exciting, on brand campaigns
