We are seeking a highly creative and technical Senior Video Editor to lead the development of high-quality video content and motion graphics. In this role, you will transform raw concepts and draft materials into concise, meaningful, and emotionally resonant stories. You will serve as a creative advisor, partnering with cross-functional teams of directors, designers, and writers to implement innovative media solutions that align with established brand standards. The ideal candidate possesses a sophisticated sense of design and filmmaking, with the ability to navigate complex creative concepts from brainstorming through final quality control.
Job Responsibility:
Creative Storytelling: Masterfully craft emotional narratives and impactful stories from raw footage and conceptual drafts
Motion Graphics: Design and execute high-level animations and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects to enhance video deliverables
Technical Execution: Manage the full post-production workflow, including color correction, audio mixing, and ensuring all deliverables meet strict quality control and video codec requirements
Collaborative Leadership: Participate extensively in brainstorming sessions, helping to consolidate ideas from various contributors into cohesive production plans
Brand Stewardship: Maintain and develop design standards and brand identity across all audiovisual mediums
Project Oversight: Direct and manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed within budget and resource constraints while troubleshooting any obstacles with business leaders
Collaborates with communications, marketing, and other crew to define, plan, and coordinate content, design, and presentation solutions
Transforms draft materials and concepts into concise and meaningful visuals, media, and/or design solutions
May collaborate with and oversee external vendors on implementing artistic services or design solutions
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of professional video editing and motion graphics experience
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, or DaVinci Resolve
Critical skills in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Deep knowledge of video codecs, delivery platforms, and post-production workflows (color, audio)
Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Creative Arts, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Strong ability to articulate creative needs and influence stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment
Nice to have:
Experience in 3D animation, visual effects, or physical production (cinematography/lighting)
