Job Description:

We’re seeking a Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic Emmy Award winning production team in Louisville, KY. This role is perfect for someone with exceptional editing skills, a strong creative eye, and a passion for emerging technologies—particularly AI in video production. You’ll transform raw footage into compelling narratives while integrating cutting-edge tools and techniques to keep RedTag at the forefront of industry trends.

Job Responsibility:

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for commercials, campaigns, social media, events, and branded content
Collaborate closely with producers, videographers, and creative directors to deliver on creative vision
Incorporate AI-powered tools for editing, color grading, motion graphics, and other post-production tasks
Stay ahead of AI and video technology trends, recommending innovative workflows and techniques
Adapt content for various formats and platforms (e.g., Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Enhance videos with motion graphics, sound design, text overlays, and music
Maintain organized project files and adhere to brand and quality standards
Mentor junior editors and contribute to the growth of RedTag’s post-production capabilities

Requirements:

5–10 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or high-volume creative environment
Advanced proficiency with industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro)
Demonstrated experience with AI-driven editing and creative tools
Strong storytelling skills, visual sense, and understanding of pacing
Proficiency in color correction and audio post-production
Ability to lead projects from concept to delivery while managing multiple priorities
Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Portfolio that showcases a range of editing styles and creative versatility

Nice to have:

Advanced motion graphics design skills
Knowledge of animation principles
Experience creating platform-specific content for social media
Basic camera operation skills
