Job Description:

Bilingual Senior Vice President, Public Sector Latin America at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. located in New York City. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients operating within the Public Sector in Latin America and conducting high-profile meetings with senior government members in Spanish. Responsibilities include originating Global Banking and Markets products and solutions, conducting credit analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a portfolio of clients operating in the Public Sector in Latin America
originate new business across the spectrum of Global Banking and Markets products and services
review legal and financial documents in English and Spanish
work closely with internal product stakeholders in New York to ensure transactions balance risk and return
prepare and present credit requests to senior credit HSBC officers and other internal committees
understand and present on financial crime risks.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics or a related field
at least 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in Relationship Management within the financial sector
3 years of experience in managing relationships with C-Suite executives at global clients
credit analysis
originating and executing complex global banking transactions
global markets, securities services, capital markets, cash management, and asset management products
1 year of experience working with Public Sector clients in the banking industry
written and oral fluency in Spanish for business and finance.
