Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification in a relevant specialty is typically required
Typically requires 15 years of relevant management experience
Experience managing large teams of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs)
Experience with clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient experience initiatives
Prior responsibility for budgetary oversight and strategic planning
Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations and collaborating with executive leadership
Ability to round in surgical environments and respond to urgent operational issues across sites
