We are offering a basic salary of up to £47,780, depending on skills and experience, based on a 42-hour working week, plus an additional over‑performance bonus opportunity. This role includes a £3,000 sign‑on bonus, with £1,500 paid in month 1 and a further £1,500 paid in month 13. The Role: As a Senior Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience built on trust, transparency and first-time fixes. You’ll be the technical expert within a close‑knit Aftersales team of 9 colleagues, working collaboratively to keep the workshop running efficiently and professionally. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing and repair work to manufacturer standards; Supporting and guiding other technicians through your technical expertise; Liaising with Service Advisors, customers and senior management to ensure clear communication and excellent service; Maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and attention to detail at all times. Quality workmanship, pride in your work and getting it right first time are core values within our workshop. What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you’ll need: A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair); Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (Senior / Diagnostic level preferred); MOT licence (preferred but not essential); Your own set of tools; A full UK driving licence.
