The Senior UX/UI Designer focuses on the high-fidelity execution of the design process, transforming user needs and sophisticated financial concepts into beautiful, organized, and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces. While you understand the full UX lifecycle, your primary mission is to own the visual direction and ensure the final product matches the intended design specification across all devices.
Job Responsibility:
Create innovative and high-fidelity user interfaces, with a mastery of visual design, information architecture, and responsive design
Design for the Big Picture: Map out the logical flow of the entire application, ensuring that user transitions between screens are intuitive and that the interface layout adapts intelligently across responsive logic on desktop, tablet, and mobile
Design at the Pixel Scale: Produce high-fidelity visual designs with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring every element, including typography, spacing, and iconography, is pixel-perfect and meets exact technical specifications
End-to-End Awareness with UI Specialization: Maintain a working knowledge of the full UX lifecycle—including discovery, persona development, and information architecture—to support the product team as needed, while focusing primarily on high-fidelity execution and the technical handoff
Write detailed technical specifications and guidelines for developers, including annotations and functional documentation to ensure design integrity
Oversee the implementation phase and UAT, ensuring developer adherence to design intent to ensure the final build is working according to spec
Fully consume- and become an expert on the design system, providing influence on its evolution and refinement
Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver end-to-end solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master's degree in UX/UI Design, Graphic Design, or Human-Computer Interaction
3+ years of professional experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design and UI for web and mobile
In-depth understanding of Responsive Design and how interfaces scale across multiple devices and resolutions
Proficiency with Figma (required)
familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Capability to both adhere to and refine/improve existing design systems
Ability to apply UX methodologies with a focus on high-fidelity interactive mockups
Experience with prototyping, customer validation, and Agile methodologies
Exceptional attention to detail with a "pixel-perfect" mindset
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Strong critical thinking ability—able to connect the dots and see the big picture
Ownership of the design process and the ability to execute design decisions independently
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Nice to have:
Experience in or knowledge of the financial services industry is desirable but not necessary
