Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our rapidly growing Product org. You will help shape the future of the Fivetran data pipeline platform for businesses large and small. Our ideal candidate has a balance of research rigor and business focus. We value those that hit the ground running, leading by example on projects and collaborating well cross-functionally. You will be diving deep into the daily lives of our customers and applying that understanding to everyday product design decisions.

Job Responsibility:

Plan, manage, and execute on user research programs across focused product areas
Collaborate with design, product, and analytics to build research projects that align with stakeholder needs as well as user needs
Guide product and design on the research methodology, question framing, and other best practices for self-run studies
Identify emerging customer and user needs to support the development of new products
Synthesize learnings from past research and analytics data to tell compelling stories and lead ideation sessions

Requirements:

A strong experience with mixed method qualitative and quantitative research
A strong portfolio featuring examples of your work, your research philosophy, and the outcomes/results
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with a bias toward action
Ability to craft engaging presentations with engrossing stories that influence your peer stakeholders
A strong desire to learn about our user and how our product impacts their success
Experience in the data industry

Nice to have:

Experience with various survey methods, analysis, visualizations and relevant data tools like SQL
Experience using AI to plan studies, synthesize feedback, and work more efficiently
