Job Description

Do you have the ability to lead the design of complex digital services from concept to production and the ability to draw on your expertise to develop and maintain a high bar for user experience standards and performance measures? Do you have experience coding in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is an asset? If so, this would be a great opportunity for you! Our client is looking for a Senior UX Designer for a 3 month contract in Toronto. This is an onsite role.

Job Responsibility

  • Create effective, user friendly and visually appealing interfaces
  • Design the overall functionality of the product in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing
  • Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate the designs
  • Conceive and conduct user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.

Requirements

  • Design experience and expertise in developing and executing strategies that improve overall user interactions with digital, user-centric products and services, resulting in measurable enhancements and positive user feedback
  • The ability to lead the design of complex digital services from concept to production and the ability to draw on your expertise to develop and maintain a high bar for user experience standards and performance measures
  • Experience with Figma, XDstudio is a must
  • Experience coding in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is an asset
  • Ability to communicate designs in clear and understandable manner, present recommendations and provide advice to the stakeholders.
