As an integral part of the CIBC's Digital Platforms and Client Engagement group's Frontline Experience team, and reporting to the Sr. Manager, User Experience, the Sr. UX Designer will support and facilitate the development of CIBC Frontline experience across multiple digital properties. The Sr. UX Designer is a master storyteller, user experience evangelist and creative problem solver. You can drive design objectives and deliver innovative concepts while maintaining brand & design standards to ensure cross-site consistency. You’re passionate about inclusive design, usability and performance. You enjoy keeping abreast on the latest design trends as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal design solutions and a cohesive/compelling experience for our clients.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and manage the end-to-end UX/UI process to deliver creative digital design concepts and solutions
Participate in design workshops
Develop storyboards, sketches/wireframes, prototypes, mockups and visual assets
Participate and contribute planning usability testing & stakeholder interviews
Help define, create and maintain the CIBC Frontline design and standards documentation
Define and deliver the design component for all assigned projects
Build and manage complex stakeholder relationships
Act as mentor and coach to new team members
Drive activities and tasks that promote innovations during the delivery cycles
Collaborate closely with UX Strategy on ideation and early project stages
Requirements:
Education and/or 8+ years of experience in Digital Design, UX Design and/or Visual Design, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent
Experience coordinating and leading Design Thinking Workshops at large scale with multidisciplinary teams
Advanced expertise or knowledge in Figma, Sketch, Invision, user-centered design principles, UX research methods, mobile and responsive design, inclusive design and WCAG accessibility standards
Digitally savvy
Ability to influence and build relationships
