Job Description:

In this position as an Senior Underwriter, you will be expected to help develop and build the non-life reinsurance treaty and facultative business. The ideal incumbent will be required to manage natural catastrophe accumulation control for assigned markets and grow the portfolio by steering it according to defined strategies to achieve optimum portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Help develop and build the non-life reinsurance treaty and facultative business
Manage natural catastrophe accumulation control for assigned markets
Grow the portfolio by steering it according to defined strategies to achieve optimum portfolio
Acquire new business and actively engage clients / brokers and maintain strong relationships
Negotiate with clients and brokers and undertake regional business travels for business development as well as clients / brokers relationship management activities

Requirements:

5+ years of reinsurance underwriting experience
Well versed in both Facultative and Excess of Loss and Proportional treaty reinsurance
Prior knowledge and experience working with treaty reinsurance pricing tools
Possess strong and long standing relationships with clients and brokers in Asia pacific
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills with a high level of motivation
