Job Responsibility

  • Manage underground infrastructure and capital project activities
  • Coordinate project scope, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Oversee installation of underground services including ventilation, dewatering, power, pumping, communications, and backfill systems
  • Monitor contractor performance and project progress
  • Ensure projects comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
  • Prepare project reports, schedules, and cost tracking documentation
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and technical services departments
  • Support procurement and technical evaluation of equipment and services
  • Drive continuous improvement and project optimization initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in underground mining infrastructure or capital projects
  • Experience managing underground mining projects in operational environments
  • Strong project management and contractor management skills
  • Familiarity with underground mine systems and infrastructure
