Senior UI Designer is responsible for translate user needs and requirements into designs that are visually exciting, emotionally engaging and easy to use for delivering purposeful solutions to our clients. Considering user experience goals and technical limitations, a Senior UI Designer makes deliberate design decisions to ensure the most intuitive interfaces for the users. They produce required UI artifacts from concept to deployment, increase efficiency and consistency in building design systems and establish a high-quality product development approach within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain the design process to be followed in the product development lifecycle
Make strategic design decisions related to the core or new functions and features
Give direction and mentorship to those in need
Identify design problems to invent proper, smart solutions
Seek design critiques actively to improve the quality of the work produced, and grow with the feedback
Able to create expressive, highly optimized, and practical interfaces and interactions for digital products
Follow usability, ergonomics, and accessibility acceptances to create design concepts to improve the whole user experience
Deliver the interaction model, layout, hierarchy, and look & feel of products by following visual design principles, benchmarks, and mood boards
Able to transform low-fidelity wireframes into beautiful, high-fidelity user interfaces across a diverse range of systems, including Android, iOS, and web platforms
Create UI elements, mockups, and final visuals to build interactive prototypes
Familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities – also platform-specific requirements and frameworks
Enable seamless and sustainable design handoff process by developing style guides, component libraries, or design systems
Ensure the quality of the final outputs is in line with the latest acceptances and visual design decisions
Be an active cross-functional team member by working harmoniously with project managers, business analysts, developers, designers, and QA engineers
Choose the right communication methods, cadence, and deliverables to convey progress and concerns to internal and external stakeholders
Clarify functional requirements, interaction behavior, and other design considerations iteratively throughout new product and feature design phases resulting in complete and comprehensive designs
Ability to multi-task and successfully participate in several projects simultaneously
Requirements:
An online portfolio demonstrating a passion for digital product development, and experience in diverse content and subject matter
BA Degree in Graphic Design / Visual Design / A related field or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in designing visual language systems for digital products
A love of collaboration, self-growth and learning
Proficiency in design tools and software
A passion to learn and keep up with design and technology trends
Design experience in mobile platforms, web, and desktop applications
Strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
