As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing product features and customer solutions, and the underlying infrastructure, that are based on LLMs. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing new foundational technical components that will power the next generation of automation and elevate the impact Make has on our customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deeply understand the business needs of Make customers, formulate the business needs into specific AI related technical implementations
  • Determine and design which service decision is suited for the problem within our teams scope (around AI/ML/LLMs)
  • Develop scalable and high quality AI/ML solutions
  • Finetune models or consult on RAG and ETL Pipelines
  • Implement scalable and robust data collection mechanisms
  • Review and learn from customer feedback
  • Design and implement principled evaluation mechanisms
  • Design and build robust and low latency infrastructure to serve the AI/ML models and meet the demands of Make customers
  • Design and develop intelligent techniques to understand, represent, and integrate enterprise operational data (e.g., processes)
  • Design and build APIs and infrastructure to serve such data at scale and with low latency
  • Design and implement intelligent ways to ensure freshness and accuracy of such data across thousands of enterprise customers
  • Have a strong say in the technical vision and strategy of your team
  • Write and review RFCs and technical documentation
  • Review and give feedback on the work of others
  • Grow and help others grow professionally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience (in Computer Science or related fields) with 3-5+ years of experience
  • Advanced experience in TypeScript
  • Passionate about developing scalable and efficient AI/ML solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent command of English – verbal & written

Nice to have:

  • Experience with LangChain and Agentic development
  • Worked with LLM-APIs and RAG
