Job Description:

Large regional full-service firm is seeking a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to join their team in Bellevue, WA. You will work closely with partners in the Bellevue office and the full Trusts & Estates group of the firm's multiple offices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
  • Preparing asset summaries and organizing financial data
  • Coordinating document execution and managing signing logistics
  • Drafting and recording deeds for real estate transfers into trusts
  • Preparing trust funding documents and beneficiary designations
  • Managing all aspects of probate, probate litigation, and trust administration from inception to conclusion
  • Preparing estate and gift tax returns
  • Drafting probate pleadings, correspondence, and estate administration documents

Requirements:

  • Minimum four years’ experience in estate planning and estate/trust administration
  • Strong communication and drafting skills
  • Experience with estate and gift tax returns
  • Ability to calendar deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
