We are looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Merchant Finance and Treasury team in Amsterdam. As Merchant Finance & Treasury we are the financial backbone of Adyen; optimizing and automating financial processes for scale, mitigating risks, and enabling growth through customer-centricity, operational excellence, innovation and integrity. The Treasury sub-team aims to support the smooth and stable functioning of Adyen’s core payment and embedded financial product offering by prudently managing liquidity, foreign exchange (FX) and counterparty concentration risk. In addition, Treasury facilitates Adyen’s growth by acting as a strategic partner in identifying the impact of future developments on Adyen’s (treasury) operations and balance sheet. To carry on these duties, our team has been split in several focus areas, cash & liquidity management (CLM) being one of them. As a Senior Treasury Analyst, you will take a leading role in further maturing our CLM activities. This means you will help the team in solving daily operational and strategic challenges, whilst simultaneously building for the long-term by co-developing our in-house built Treasury Management System (TMS). You will do this together with a high performing team of treasury analysts who are responsible for the daily operations globally. As such, you will strive for automation to improve operational processes and to navigate the development of new tools. Finally, you will provide strategic direction, align with stakeholders and drive projects. In this role you will ensure that our team is fully prepared to support Adyen’s growth and new financial products in a scalable and controlled way.
Job Responsibility:
Support, enable and improve our daily cash & liquidity management (CLM) processes and tools
draw conclusions and recommendations for optimization and automation
Partner with our (technical) teams to act upon these insights
design tools, automate processes, as well as having up to date controls and monitoring in place
Ensure data analysis is embedded in a scalable way to enhance insights into our key financial and operational metrics
Provide internal stakeholders with those insights to influence strategic decision making
Manage project lifecycle from start to finish
Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management and communication of progress to all parties
Requirements:
3-6 years work experience with scaling / maturing CLM activities and setting-up complex (ideally technical) processes
Experience with process improvement, optimisation and/or automation is required
Ability to lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excited by the challenge of building robust, scalable solutions from scratch (or significantly overhauling them) rather than simply integrating off-the-shelf products
Ability to execute and deliver quality results, including managing projects, developing strategy, working collaboratively, influencing senior leaders and distilling complex ideas into clear communications
Experience building / improving a TMS is required, ideally within an in-house development environment or in close collaboration with product and engineering teams
