Experience in underwriting and trading mid-market Commercial Combined products
A detailed knowledge of the South West broker market
Minimum Dip CII or progressing towards, is preferred

Job Responsibility

Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with a panel of south brokers as their nominated underwriter
Support profitable development of the Mid-Market Commercial Combined & Real Estate accounts
Prospect and actively contribute to the growth targets of the team optimising sales and retention
Take ownership of large complex cases and work proactively with the broker to negotiate the right outcome
Develop and support our clients teams’ commercial lines account by engaging and encouraging relationships with regional brokers
Maintain an accurate audit trail using internal systems, practices, and procedures
Underwrite within our client’s strategy and authority limits and refer all cases outside of strategy or individual limits
Maintain and endeavour to exceed agreed service levels, to both internal and external customers
Be a strong referral point for your team, providing technical assistance and guidance to colleagues
