Job Description:

On behalf of our client, a globally recognized leader in the trading of metals and petroleum products, we are seeking an experienced Senior Trader to spearhead a new business direction within their portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a top 10 global trading group and play a key role in achieving significant regional market share in the metals, petrochemicals, or LPG trading sectors. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Trading and will work across dynamic global supply markets, managing high-volume trades and driving business growth in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute large-volume trades in one of the markets: metals, petrochemicals, or LPG
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure supply contracts in global markets
  • Optimize trading strategies to maximize profitability while mitigating risks
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and industry partners
  • Actively identify and capture new trading opportunities in regional and global markets
  • Monitor market trends, geopolitical events, and regulatory changes to identify trading risks and opportunities
  • Contribute to the company’s growth strategy in the new trading direction, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
  • Support the Head of Trading in planning and executing initiatives to position the company as a leader in regional markets

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in trading metals or petrochemicals or LPG
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in large and successful international trading companies with excellent market reputation
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of global supply chains and trading operations
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and drive results
  • Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to handle high-pressure trading environments and deliver exceptional results
  • Strong cultural adaptability and experience working in international markets
