As a Senior Trade Compliance Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our U.S. sites by ensuring our import and export activities meet regulatory requirements and reflect our commitment to responsible business practices. This is a hands-on role for an experienced trade compliance professional who thrives at the intersection of technical regulations, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence. You will support the full lifecycle of international shipments—from classification and licensing to documentation, auditing, and internal process governance. You’ll also partner closely with teams across logistics, engineering, IT, legal, and operations to maintain our high compliance standards and help safeguard our supply chain.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the end-to-end execution of import and export activities
  • Maintain and update trade compliance procedures
  • Conduct jurisdiction and classification analyses
  • Prepare and submit export licenses in SNAP‑R and monitor application progress
  • Partner with Engineering and IT to implement Technology Control Plans (TCPs)
  • Lead internal audits of trade compliance processes
  • Review and validate international shipment documents
  • Develop and deliver trade compliance training
  • Evaluate goods for preferential treatment eligibility
  • Work closely with logistics, shipping, legal, and operations teams
  • Maintain accurate regulatory reporting
  • Perform HTS classifications and support tariff analysis

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of direct Trade Compliance experience (export, import, or both)
  • Experience with EAR
  • Familiarity with ITAR preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CES or CUSECO (preferred)
  • Licensed Customs Broker (preferred)
  • Familiarity with C-TPAT, ACE, Reconciliation, and Duty Drawback
  • Experience using automated trade compliance systems and reporting tools
