We are seeking a Senior ThoughtSpot Engineer with a strong background in data and analytics to join our consulting team. This individual will play a critical role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing ThoughtSpot solutions while also bringing deep expertise across broader data technologies. The ideal candidate has both hands-on technical skills and the ability to engage with clients, bridging business objectives with scalable technical solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead workshops and requirements sessions with business stakeholders and ensure that the solutions delivered by the team align with defined business goals and desired outcomes
  • Design, architect, and implement ThoughtSpot solutions for a diverse range of clients
  • Build ThoughtSpot solutions that are flexible by design, enabling rapid configuration, extension, and deprecation as business needs evolve
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on best practices for data modeling, cloud integration, and analytics adoption
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices
  • Serve as a primary technical resource, guiding architecture decisions across multiple client programs
  • Champion modern software engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD
  • Partner with internal and client teams to understand business objectives and recommend the best-fit technical solutions
  • Stay current with emerging technologies across data platforms, analytics, and AI

Requirements:

  • Proven success delivering ThoughtSpot solutions in consulting or enterprise environments
  • One or more ThoughtSpot certifications (Professional, Cloud Architect, Administrator, or similar) highly desirable
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
  • Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Synapse
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, etc.)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-changing environments and can work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as client engagements require
