Rackner is seeking a Senior Test Engineer highly specialized in one or more phases of systems engineering and testing.

Evaluates the applicability of a broad range of information systems issues, including hardware/software integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
Evaluates the effectiveness and applicability of a broad range of information systems
Works with Test Engineer to develop test cases and formal test plans to implement large information system
Provides testing input for program engineering and acquisition documents and products
Test software system and reports defects clearly and concisely
Tracks all systems bugs/discrepancies and ensures software engineers resolve and incorporate necessary fixes
Performs complex and repetitive testing to ensure computer system conforms to specifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or Mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
10 years’ experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s degree of professional experience with research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within and application area
Experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
Demonstrated experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. DevOps/DevSecOps) in a professional or academic setting
Ability to obtain Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification
