Job Description:

10Pearls is seeking a skilled expert in Senior Test Consultant to join our team. Hands-on and be able to work selenium with PERL, GitHub Actions, Qase.io, BDD Testcases, Performance Testing, API/ DB, Heimdall TAF, Shell, Open API Specification, Swagger

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage, support, and coordinate business and QA aspects of software development activities, utilizing AI tools for enhanced requirement analysis and QA of applications
  • Lead test strategy development, ensuring it aligns with the client's business objectives and incorporates AI
  • Research new tools and technologies including AI-based tools, and evaluate their usefulness for the team/company
  • Provide mentoring and on-the-job training for junior team members, emphasizing AI tool usage and best practices through learning activities and knowledge-sharing sessions, guiding them in both technical and client-facing skills
  • Develop, publish, and implement comprehensive AI-enhanced Test Plans, using AI-driven insights for optimal coverage
  • Inform the supervisor about what resources will be required for software testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, leveraging AI for continuous feedback and improvement
  • Identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies, keeping client expectations in mind
  • Develop and execute AI-enhanced automated test scripts for better accuracy and scalability
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, incorporating AI
  • Participate in AI-assisted Manual/Automation QA Reviews for increased efficiency
  • Participate in QA activities (e.g., Training, Snack Chat, Interview etc.)

Requirements:

  • Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in CS or EE field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, particularly for component and automation testing
  • Practical experience working with OpenAPI specifications and Swagger
  • Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Perl, and the Robot Framework
  • Proficiency with Git, GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Experience with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
  • Intermediate experience with Jenkins/CI/CD pipelines and Selenium, preferably using Perl modules
  • Experience writing or maintaining test scripts in Perl is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with test automation systems developed in Python
  • Solid knowledge of shell scripting (Bash or equivalent)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in the morning shift (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
