Job Description:

Senior Test Analyst role in CSIRO's Information Management and Technology team, leading quality assurance activities across cyber security initiatives including threat detection and response, identity and access management, and security monitoring tools.

Job Responsibility:

Lead functional, regression, system, integration, and cyber security testing activities
Develop and execute security-focused test cases and scenarios
Develop and implement detailed testing plans and strategies
Produce comprehensive test reports with security findings and recommendations
Mentor and build capability of test analysts
Foster continuous improvement and innovation in testing practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including developers, business analysts, and cyber security professionals

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years' experience in testing software applications
At least 2 years in cyber security testing
Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent relevant work experience
Demonstrated advanced knowledge in testing analysis techniques, processes, and methodologies
Extensive experience in functional, system integration, regression, and security testing
Cyber security certification such as CISSP (preferred), CEH or OSCP (desirable)
Demonstrated extensive experience working in Agile-Scrum development environment
Excellent communication skills
Experience in backlog refinement, sprint review, retrospective, and planning ceremonies

Nice to have:

Experience testing both front-end and back-end web application systems
Focus on discovery and access of research data
Experience with high throughput requirements for relational & file-based data processing
