Join our Hamilton-based product team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of the software that powers Gallagher’s global security solutions. This is an opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Working within a product-focused engineering team, you’ll work across both manual and automated testing - designing and executing thorough test cases, identifying issues, and ensuring solutions meet both technical requirements and customer expectations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, write and execute detailed test cases based on requirements
  • Identify, analyse and document defects in a clear, reproducible way
  • Assess impact and support prioritisation of issues
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality outcomes
  • Contribute to test process improvements and best practice
  • Provide guidance and support to junior testers

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in manual and automated software testing (senior level)
  • Strong experience in test case design
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing best practices
  • Experience working with SQL/databases
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly document issues
  • Experience mentoring or supporting others

Nice to have:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB Advanced)
  • Experience testing Mobile and/or Cloud services
