Job Responsibility:
Multi-Cloud Engineering: Drive the engineering of highly available multi-cloud architectures, focusing on complex hybrid and multi-cloud solutions that bridge on-premises KVM stacks with public cloud providers
DevOps & Automation Leadership: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks to enhance product build-outs and engineering velocity
Advanced Tier-4 Escalations: Act as the ultimate technical authority for critical issues involving Morpheus/VME and the HVM (Ubuntu 24.04 KVM) hypervisor stack
Infrastructure as a Code (IaC): Lead the development of reusable automation assets using Ansible and Terraform to manage infrastructure across diverse cloud environments
Targeted IT Ops & QA Support: Assist in the maintenance of internal build and QA environments as needed, ensuring stability for the development team without primary daily management responsibility
Technical Governance: Author and maintain architectural documentation, playbooks, and technical standards to ensure alignment with cloud-native best practices
Knowledge Leadership: Mentor junior engineers in DevOps methodologies and represent the engineering team in high-level technical forums
Requirements:
5–7 years of technical engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud architecture and automation
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Critical expertise in DevOps practices, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), automated testing, and release management
Subject matter mastery of KVM, including Ubuntu 24.04 LTS administration
A deep familiarity with multi-cloud management, automation ,and orchestration tools such as Morpheus Cloud Management
Comprehensive understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid networking topologies
Hands-on engineering experience with Ceph, gfs2, Pacemaker, and Corosync for resilient enterprise deployments
Expert-level scripting in Python, Bash, Terraform and Ansible for end-to-end infrastructure orchestration
Ability to articulate complex multi-cloud strategies to senior leadership and provide clear, actionable technical guidance to peers
