Job Description:

Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant role in Employee Document Management (EDR) product team within Enterprise Functions Technology/HR Technology. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation for a .NET and SQL Server-based application that integrates with multiple enterprise systems.

Job Responsibility:

Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for business problems
Contribute to development of cost-effective systems and procedures
Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges
Partner with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions
Act as internal consultant using quality tools and process improvement
Collaborate with business and technology teams to resolve issues and manage project schedules
Coordinate communication between business and technology teams
Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements
Analyze business processes and translate into technical specifications
Document user stories, use cases, workflows, and system interactions
Facilitate requirement walkthroughs with engineering and QA teams
Coordinate with dependent teams on integration points and data flows
Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness
Assist in troubleshooting issues during development and post-deployment
Maintain documentation and ensure requirement traceability

Requirements:

4+ years of Business Systems Data experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
4+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in software product environment
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), especially Agile environments
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage dependencies across multiple systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar

Nice to have:

Experience in document management systems or enterprise content management (ECM) platforms
Familiarity with integration patterns and API-based communication
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Experience working using Kanban & Agile methodologies
