Job Responsibility:
Response and Resolution: You own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues and act as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices
Readiness: You lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring of others
You deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues, through training and readiness
Product/Process Improvement: You engage with Microsoft Engineering/ Supportability teams to investigate potential product defects and help develop automation techniques and diagnostic tools driving Microsoft product improvements
Requirements:
Hands on working experience in Technical consulting, or information technology
Windows System Administration/Configuration, including a good basic understanding of: Hyper-V management and VM deployment Clustering Resilient Storage technology (clustering, storage spaces direct)
Windows backup and VSS Performance/Resource Monitor Event Logs & Auditing Azure Local Experience in one or more of these areas strongly preferred: Registry User Accounts & Access Control Networking (TCP/IP) Storage Networking (RDMA, DCB and PFC, TOR switch) experience
Windows Update management Kerberos and delegation Azure Portal User Experience Automated installation of Windows Server management tools Windows Admin Center Active Directory topology and management Network Tracing and analysis Network Virtualization (Hyper-V, SDN)
Troubleshooting performance issues using PerfMon and other tools
English Language: confident in reading, writing and speaking. OR Fluent in German, French, Italian and confident in reading, writing, and speaking is preferred
