The role is part of the Global HPE Juniper Apstra Technical Assistance Center (JTAC) organization. Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for responding to customer issues via phone, Email and the HPE Juniper Support Portal
  • Document Customer issues in-depth, understanding their environment and the impact of their issue
  • Escalate Customer issues with Engineering to drive issues to resolution or develop workarounds for customers
  • Gather and document customer requirements for product feature enhancements
  • Assist Sales and Customer Engineering with engagements and field testing
  • Assist with product development and testing
  • Assist with the production and development of internal documentation

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years experience in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiar with the software or networking market/industry
  • Located in Romania
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Able to work occasional 24x7 on-call shifts

Nice to have:

  • 5 years experience in a customer-facing role
  • Knowledge and experience with developer-focused platforms, frameworks, and tools
  • Networking experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, SONiC or other Network Operating Systems
  • In-depth experience with Network technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, VXLAN, Ethernet and EVPN
  • Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, HTTP/REST APIs
  • Familiar with Linux, Python, and version control systems such as Git
