Reporting to Talan USA Managing Director the Senior Technical Recruiter will play a key role in developing high-quality technical talent pipelines, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and supporting strategic hiring needs across our banking, energy clients. As an experienced technical recruiter, you will leverage your strong expertise in IT, trading systems, data, and infrastructure roles to guide internal stakeholders and deliver top-tier candidates. You will contribute to operational excellence through proactive talent identification, market intelligence, client collaboration, and an exceptional candidate experience. Your ownership, reactivity, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment will be key to success.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: intake, sourcing strategy, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing
Track and analyze KPIs such as pipeline strength, conversion rates, and time-to-fill, while contributing to continuous process improvement
Understand and recruit for technical roles including: C++/Java/Python developers, data & AI roles, trading systems specialists, low-latency engineers, PMs/BAs, infrastructure roles, etc
Stay up to date on market trends across banking (CIB, trading, risk, data), technology, and consulting
Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Managers to anticipate staffing needs and market demands
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through transparency, responsiveness, and personalized communication
Share best practices with the TA team and contribute to sourcing strategy improvements
Support initiatives to strengthen Talan’s brand positioning and candidate community engagement
Requirements:
Full-cycle recruitment ownership (from sourcing to closing)
Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and direct sourcing techniques
5+ years of experience in technical recruitment
Proven successful experience recruiting for banking and/or CIB, and Energy industry role
Strong Experience in a consulting or staffing environment
Successful recruitment for software engineering, trading systems, technical Project Management and Business Analysis, data/AI, and infrastructure roles
Ability to build and maintain a pipeline of both active and passive technical candidates
