As AMD continues its exciting growth journey, our high-performing Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Recruiter (Technical/Engineering) to join us. In this role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruitment for specialised technical roles, ranging from software engineers to silicon design experts, across multiple business units. You’ll act as a strategic hiring partner and consultant to business leaders, develop tailored sourcing strategies, and ensure every candidate has an exceptional experience.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, from sourcing through offer acceptance
Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, build effective hiring plans, and deliver against headcount goals
Develop and execute customised sourcing strategies to identify and engage high-caliber technical talent
Use advanced Boolean search techniques, social media, and modern sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter) to uncover hard-to-find talent
Provide strategic guidance on market insights, talent availability, and hiring trends
Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Deliver exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences through strong communication, transparency, and follow-through
Track and report on key recruiting metrics

Requirements:
Proven success recruiting in a global, matrixed organisation
Strong familiarity with the semiconductor industry, R&D functions, or deep tech
Demonstrated ability to recruit across multiple international markets, particularly EMEA
Skilled in articulating and understanding complex technical requirements
Proficient in using ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and candidate engagement strategies
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and written/verbal communication skills
