Job Description

We are working to hire a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale technology programs in Buda, Texas. This contract opportunity is suited for a detail-oriented candidate who can coordinate complex IT efforts, align cross-functional teams, and keep delivery objectives on track. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a practical understanding of modern delivery frameworks, and the ability to guide initiatives involving cloud environments, enterprise platforms, data solutions, and infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct end-to-end execution of complex technical projects, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned with business goals
  • Partner with stakeholders, technical leads, and delivery teams to define priorities, clarify scope, and drive informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation activities to support predictable and successful outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams by establishing accountability, communication rhythms, and clear project governance
  • Facilitate Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, status tracking, and issue resolution, to maintain momentum across workstreams
  • Use tools such as Jira and related project management platforms to monitor progress, manage dependencies, and provide transparent reporting
  • Coordinate technical initiatives involving cloud transformation, enterprise applications, data platforms, and infrastructure-related efforts
  • Identify potential delivery obstacles early and implement corrective actions to reduce impact on schedule, cost, or quality

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing projects or programs, including 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex IT initiatives across areas such as cloud environments, enterprise systems, data platforms, or infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts and established delivery methodologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams that may be distributed across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks in a structured and effective manner
  • Hands-on experience working within Agile Scrum environments
  • Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools, including Jira
