The Senior Technical Project Manager will drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex technical initiatives across Activision’s Analytics organization. This role partners closely with Visualization, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business and technical requirements into clear execution plans and deliver scalable solutions that support data-driven decision making across Activision’s portfolio of IP. This role will manage a diverse pipeline of analytics, data platforms, and visualization projects from ideation through delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Drive end-to-end execution of complex technical projects spanning analytics, data engineering, and visualization teams
Partner with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and requirements while ensuring alignment with business priorities
Lead project planning, roadmap development, and delivery tracking for a portfolio of technical initiatives
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and project workflows, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Manage dependencies and coordination across multiple teams including analytics, engineering, studios, product groups, and business stakeholders
Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements in collaboration with data and engineering teams
Ensure projects deliver iterative value through MVP delivery, continuous iteration, and stakeholder feedback
Lead project meetings and discussions focused on solution ideation, decision making, and resolving blockers
Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with partners and leadership
Develop and maintain effective project communication strategies, ensuring transparency across stakeholders
Track project progress, measure outcomes, and report status to leadership and stakeholders
Build strong cross-functional relationships that support collaboration and efficient project execution
Continuously improve project management processes, workflows, and tooling to support team productivity and scalability
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in project or program management roles within technical, data, or analytics-focused organizations
Proven experience managing complex cross-functional projects across engineering, analytics, and technical teams
Strong experience working within Agile development environments using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid frameworks
Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences
Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple levels of an organization
Highly proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in ambiguous environments
Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Nice to have:
Experience working with data platforms, analytics pipelines, or visualization systems
Familiarity with data engineering, BI tools, or analytics workflows
PMP, Scrum Master, or related project management certification
