The Advertising & Monetization (MAM) organization builds the platforms and systems that power monetization across Microsoft’s owned and operated properties and third-party publisher ecosystems. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive execution across publisher facing monetization capabilities, operating at the intersection of engineering, product, data, and business stakeholders. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional programs that support publisher monetization platforms, including supply-side systems, ad serving, yield optimization, in a privacy aware environment. You will operate with high autonomy, driving clarity in ambiguous problem spaces while ensuring reliable, scalable delivery of monetization solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Own end-to-end execution of technical programs supporting publisher monetization platforms, from planning and design through launch and post-launch operations
Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Privacy, and Business teams to translate business goals into clear technical execution plans
Drive alignment across multiple teams and dependencies, proactively identifying risks, tradeoffs, and mitigation strategies
Lead program planning artifacts including milestones, execution plans, dependency maps, and launch readiness reviews
Ensure monetization systems meet performance, reliability, scalability, and compliance requirements, especially in privacy-sensitive environments
Track and communicate program health using data-driven metrics, surfacing insights and recommendations to leadership
Support continuous improvement of execution mechanisms, tooling, and operational processes across the publisher vertical
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in technical or non-technical fields
Experience in technical program management, product development, engineering, or data-driven roles
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for diverse audiences
Nice to have:
Experience in Ad’s publisher ecosystems, digital advertising, monetization platforms, or marketplace systems
Experience partnering with privacy, compliance, or measurement teams in regulated environments
Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across engineering-heavy organizations
