Job Description:

Azure Specialized Compute drives the hardware roadmap, software and services that enable our users to run technical computing workloads in Azure - from batch workloads to Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) to traditional High Performance Compute (HPC) simulations to remote visualization. We are responsible for providing the most scalable general-purpose systems as well as the most powerful GPU-accelerated systems for our end customers in their quest for finding answers to some of the most difficult questions in science and industry. Azure Specialized Compute organization is looking for a dedicated and talented individual to be part of our customer-facing Technical Program Management team. This role will be responsible for supporting some of our most important customers as they embark on their cloud journey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with key customers and partners to fuel the growth of the Specialized Azure platform.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive highly impactful cross-organization initiatives around end to end experiences spanning multiple Azure products and services
  • Manage complex program/project to successful completion
  • Mentor junior members of the team and provide support to our Product Management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice to have:

1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
