Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Since then, we have produced iconic devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create? This role specifically sits with the Fire Tablets team, an iconic product and a thriving business adored by customers around the world – but it’s still “day one” in inspiring the world to read more and get more out of reading every day, across all their devices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with key stakeholders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements
  • Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through delivery
  • Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control
  • Manage assignments and oversee deliverables of team members

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Nice to have:

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
