At PepsiCo International dCommerce team, we are building the next generation of innovative products and capabilities using emerging technologies to accelerate our business and increase our market share. While tied closely to broader PepsiCo, the dCommerce group has a unique start-up feel and defined values that embrace a more entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to manage deployment and integration of the Retail Media Automation capability across our international anchor markets, as well as look for opportunities to strengthen our media operations through integration with the wider marketing capability ecosystem from planning to reporting to activation to attribution. This role is a core owner of an end to end Retail Media Automation capability from capturing local requirements and matching them with the global blueprint, partnering with our vendors and internal media groups to deliver successful deployment of our Retail Media program. Successful candidate will also establish data integrations, work on BI solutions for media reporting and pilot media investment sufficiency automation initiatives in partnership with the data product team and wider technology organization. In addition to having sufficient technical skills and performance marketing related experience, the candidate will be expected to apply soft skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identify capability gaps and additional needs from local markets and come up with a strategy on how to close them via collaboration with our internal and external partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, own and maintain deployment roadmap & development backlog for the retail media automation capability and associated tech. platforms across international anchor markets
  • Lead onboarding efforts for new markets in collaboration with the 3p retail media automation partner
  • Collect requirements from hands-on-keyboard performance marketing teams and transforms them into product requests or custom solutions
  • Partner with relevant Global teams to define and develop the right approach to intelligent investment guidance, media sufficiency and attribution frameworks
  • Support Retail Media Automation and Supply Chain product lead on the path to integrating retail media automation programs into wider PepsiCo initiatives
  • Identify new opportunities which will allow the company to improve efficiency of existing retail media workflows through automation
  • Address risks, resolves key blockers and establishes appropriate resolution paths
  • Collaborate with peers from the International Digital Commerce Data Product team and wider technology organization to successfully deliver data integrations and BI solutions
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert for all things retail media

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a technical product manager
  • Strong understanding of retail media landscape: publishers active across international markets, DSPs, SSPs, attribution, MMM
  • Project management experience
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation provided by internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to identify the difference between what stakeholders want and what stakeholders need
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables based on what’s best for the organization
  • Ability to explain stakeholder needs to technical team members and explain technical considerations to non-technical stakeholders
  • Prior experience in marketing/media and consumer packaged goods space
