Role Description: Integration of OTA (Over The Air) SW Update, Data acquisition in the APTIV SW platform. Systems: Automotive ARM based SoCs chipsets running POSIX OS (like Yocto Linux)

Job Responsibility

  • Integration of OTA (Over The Air) SW Update, Data acquisition in the APTIV SW platform
  • In the context of integrating an OTA SW Framework on the Aptiv SW platform, you will be responsible for the software requirements analysis (SWE.1) and software architectural design (SWE.2) necessary to perform that integration
  • System requirements with good knowledge of Polarion and Automotive process
  • Manage and maintain our databases in Polarion
  • Facilitate transfer to customer projects and System groups
  • Interact with the SW developers

Requirements

  • 10+ experience working with SW application running on Posix Operating system (Yocto Linux, QNX, VxWorks)
  • Preferably within the Automotive industry
  • A graduate in B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Software/Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation/Information technology/telecommunication)
  • Strong knowledge and solid experience with Software requirements and architecture
  • Tools: Polarion, Enterprise Architect or similar tools
  • Experience in developing Embedded SW product for the automotive industry
  • Good knowledge of the process (ASPICE) and SW Product life cycle
  • Proficient in Embedded C/C++ and ARM Cortex A/R/M Based SoC (like NXP S32G, Jacinto7, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Samsung)
  • Experience working with the Yocto build system (cmake, bitbake, meta-layer), version control tool (git, svn)
  • Must have experience with Yocto Linux and QNX
  • Project management tool: Jira
  • OTA SW update knowledge
  • Good communication and analyzing skills
