Job Description:

Senior Technical Engineering Lead responsible for building world class digital engagements for Citi, performing system designs, software architecture, handling technology deliveries and end-to-end development cycles, and leading, building and supporting banking applications.

Job Responsibility:

Manage global technology teams, stakeholders, and various partners
Evaluate risk and controls issues and ensure compliance to application security
Manage Citi's technology infrastructure including software, hardware, and procured products
Influence innovation efforts and partner on new products and services
Lead technical discussions with developers and architects
Build technology roadmaps for partnership programs
Own delivery of products against roadmap
Build culture of ownership within technical and design teams
Represent department on Senior Management forums
Develop and implement metrics monitoring and corrective actions
Establish global relationships across business, technology and operational lines
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program scope meets business objectives
Reduce time to market through continuous process improvement
Build and enforce strong financial governance
Build employee engagement and retain staff
Define and drive talent strategy

Requirements:

10+ years' experience in overall IT (Product development and Software Engineering)
5+ years' experience managing large scale delivery of mobile, web, and cloud products
Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services
Ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly
Experienced technical contributor in large, global, distributed organizations
Demonstrated ability to design, develop and implement complex solutions across multiple technical domains
Drive transformational changes in operations including lifecycle, process, people, and systemic automation
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change
Capacity to adapt to shifting goals and activities
Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies with minimal management oversight
Strong analytical and quantitative skills

Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
MS preferred

Nice to have:

MS degree preferred
Experience in financial industry and products
Understanding of microservices architecture including service discovery, API gateways, and inter-service communication
