Job Description:

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning

Job Responsibility:

Acting as a Subject Matter Expert & key point of contact for stakeholder engagement
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation
Negotiate and understand project priority, appropriately assess & communicate key project risks, define mitigation strategies and managing resolution of same
Responsible for business analysis, owning business/ functional requirements and change requests, participating in end-to-end project delivery
Produce project artifacts such as Business Requirement document, oversee project timeline and milestones
Collaborate with global development teams, cross functional teams, business and technology Stakeholders, and QA team to develop, track and report. Understand cross program interdependencies for end-to-end implementation
Maintaining Book of Work and facilitating prioritization discussions with key business stakeholders
Managing strong relationship with business and taking ownership for providing regular project updates to key business and technology stakeholders

Requirements:

SQL working knowledge
11-16 years of relevant experience
Understanding of trade lifecycle & trading systems and trade clearing and execution. Product design and delivery. Data analytics system and data design
Understanding of the different project methodologies: Agile Project Methodology, Six Sigma, or Software Development Life Cycle or Project Management (PMP) Certification
Excellent communication in both reading and verbal, interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and large global teams and lead multiple activities and build/develop working relationships
Ability to understand problems, independently perform data and reporting analysis, propose and review solutions to business and development users
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence solutions
Demonstrated ability to be work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines with proactive, decisiveness and flexibility
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly
Excellent in defining business strategies/requirements
Strong project management and proven delivery to lead large project implementation
Strong understanding of database and system integration design and development life cycle
