Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Team Leader in Cleaning to join our friendly and supportive Estates team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene, creating a welcoming environment for all students, staff and visitors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and allocate duties to cleaning staff on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitor attendance, arrange cover when required, and ensure consistent service delivery
  • Carry out regular audits to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Manage cleaning supplies, maintaining accurate stock levels and placing orders as needed

Requirements:

  • COSHH awareness, or will be willing to undertake
  • A Health and Safety qualification or be willing to undertake
  • First Aid at Work, or be willing to undertake
  • A good level of Maths and English
  • Experience of leading a team
