Job Description:

The Senior Team Lead, Systems Design/Architecture at NTT DATA is a pivotal role that involves managing a team of systems design professionals to ensure architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements. This position is on-site in Vietnam.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides tactical and operational management in the system design activities
  • Coordinates the identification of design goals and creates system architecture plans
  • Works with the team to ensure that architectural solutions meet technical and functional requirements
  • Coordinates the investigation and scoping of change requests to determine the scale of work to be done and estimates the timeframe and input required
  • Determines system loads and volumes as input into infrastructure requirements
  • Ensures that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with the company’s goals and strategies
  • Accountable for the coordination of design and development of new systems and solutions
  • Ensures that new systems and solutions conform to current system architecture and/or aligns to strategic system architectural direction
  • Identifies potential risks and challenges in the system design and architecture
  • Ensures that system architecture is delivered in the form of robust and scalable solutions to business problems and needs
  • Ensures the specification of solutions functional and technical requirements, and implementation phases required in order to deliver on and solve complex business problems
  • Coordinates the implementation of processes for integrating architectural solutions
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, to define system requirements, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful project execution
  • Coordinates the activities of a team of architects and engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Fosters a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and innovation

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with various architectural patterns and frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages
  • Understanding of databases, networking, and infrastructure components
  • Team management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, foster innovation, and get results
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate trade-offs, and make sound decisions
  • Proficient in designing and architecting complex systems
  • Communication, presentation and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, such as cybersecurity and data privacy
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Recommended certifications such as Cloud (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
  • TOGAF preferred
  • Solid experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Solid experience coordinating the activities of technically skilled teams
  • Solid experience in a similar role within a large-scale organization
  • Project management experience
