The Senior Team Lead, Network Field Cabling Installation at NTT DATA is a pivotal role responsible for leading a team of installation engineers and ensuring the successful execution of network cabling projects. This role ensures the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and management of network cabling systems within the organization's facilities, including data centers, offices, and remote sites. Job Responsibility:

  • Leads, mentors, and supervises a team of network cabling installation engineers whilst fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of network cabling projects
  • Collaborates with project managers, network engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Develops and implements strategic plans for network cabling infrastructure to support the organization's IT and business objectives
  • Assesses future capacity needs and technology trends to guide infrastructure planning
  • Ensures that network cabling installations meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Conducts quality assessments and inspections of completed installations
  • Allocates resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to support cabling projects

Requirements:

  • Seasoned experience gained within a similar role and similar IT services organization
  • Seasoned experience in network cabling installation
  • Developing experience in managing field cabling installation engineers
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Preferred certifications, such as BICSI RCDD, Cisco CCNA preferred
  • Seasoned proficiency in project management principles and tools
  • Seasoned knowledge of network cabling standards, copper, and fiber optic cabling systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
